Building the Bridge

Something came to me as I was walking across the UW – Eau Claire bridge last night. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Eau Claire area, this bridge connects the divide that the mighty Chippewa River creates between the university campus and our little college neighborhood. This prompted me to think about what this bridge symbolizes in my mind and I was able to come up with a great comparison.

This bridge in its simplest form was built to connect Eau Claire’s students with the UW – Eau Claire establishment. I compared this connection to finding a career and obtaining goals in your life. I imagined what it would be like if this bridge didn’t exist and we were required to swim across to our classes. That would just simply not work. I thought of how I could use this example to show how GMM’s services would help others.

I want GMM to act as a bridge that safely connects you with where you want to go in life. The bridge that GMM will build in your life will keep you safe from the swirling river water that I compared to as uncertainty and doubt. Let’s work together to start building this bridge.
